    General Manager
    Mike Moore

I was born in Portland, Oregon in December, 1956. I grew up in Oregon and Washington as my father followed his career in forestry. After graduating high school, I spent several years in the Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina with the 5th Special Forces group.  I will forever be grateful for the life changing opportunity to serve my country.  After my military duty, I attended college and spent my summers working for a logging company out of New Meadows, Idaho.

I moved to Boise in 1984 and have made a living in the automobile industry since that time.  For 15 years, I have been employed with the Peterson family of dealerships. I have filled several positions under the Peterson organization, including my current role as the General Manager of Peterson's Stampede Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram for over 10 years.

My wife and I have three adult children, all living in Boise with their spouses and children.  We currently have two grandchildren and one on the way.  Our grandchildren bring me and my wife more joy than we could ever imagine!  Our family is extremely important to us and as a result we have many family gatherings. We enjoy spending time with the family in McCall, skiing during the winter season, and boating in the summer. We love the Treasure Valley and are very fortunate to be a part of this vibrant community!

Hi, I'm Jeff. I was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. After moving to Boise, I started working for Peterson Motors. I can't believe I've been with the team for nine years now. I started as a sales associate and then received a promotion as the General Sales Manager for Peterson's Stampeded Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram store in Nampa, Idaho.

I have a passion for thoroughbred horse racing and I currently race all my horses throughout the northwest. In my spare time, I enjoy working on the family farm with my wife and boys as well as going to baseball practice in the warm summer months.

    Parts Manager
    Ray Miles

I was born in Mountain Home, Idaho but never actually lived there. My Father was a railroad worker so early in his career my family experienced a lot of moving. When I was two, we moved to Caldwell where we ended up settling.

I began working in the auto parts business in 1982 and have both aftermarket and dealership experience. In October of 1987, I joined the Peterson family, moving with them from their downtown location on 12th and Main, to their location on Fairview and Maple Grove in 1992.

In August of 2004, I was given an opportunity to move to Peterson's Stampede, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram in Nampa as the Parts Manager. I gratefully accepted that offer and have been blessed with an awesome team. My department, as well as our whole dealership, is made up of a great crew who are honest and hardworking, a people who work hard to provide a desired end result, happy customers.

I am Chrysler certified and have many awards and certificates from Chrysler as well as the other manufacturers, which Peterson's represents.

I have a wonderful family which consists of my wife, 12 children, and 11 Grandchildren, with four more grand kids on the way! I enjoy spending time with my wife and spoiling the grandchildren. I like coaching the kids in their sports, supporting them in music, riding my bike, and playing the piano (a constant work in progress at best)!

  • Mert Logue
    Service Manager
    Mert Logue

Hello, my name is Mert Logue. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. My family came to Idaho over the Oregon Trail and Light Rail in the late eighteen & early nineteen hundreds. My grandfather was the Sheriff of Valley County from 1950 to 1973, a well respected lawman and the man I was named after. I have very fond memories as a child spending my summers in Cascade and surrounding back country. Needless to say, I can hold my own with most outdoors-man.

I graduated from Boise High, class of '80, and received my automotive degree from Phoenix Institute of Technology in Phoenix, AZ. I began working in the automotive industry as a technician. I took my first and only service manager position on March 16, 1988 for Don Hull's Town & Country Volkswagen, AMC, Jeep, Renault in Nampa, Idaho. In November of 1995, the Peterson family purchased the franchise and kept me in my position as the service manager. It is rare for dealerships to change ownership and keep the existing management, but the Peterson's are people of high integrity, and they gave me the opportunity to earn their trust. I will always be grateful for that.

I am married to a wonderful women and entrepreneur. We met building town homes together in west Boise. We were business partners, creating a small subdivision. Neither of us had any experience, but it was this experience that brought us together.  I am blessed that she's stayed with me through the years. I am a two-time cancer survivor and I experienced my last battle when we were dating; who wants to bet on a potentially dead horse? Well she did, and we've now had 11 great years. We have a blended family of four children and we've been blessed with a mixture of many talents and attitudes.

Within my career I have been rewarded with numerous awards and incentive trips, but really, that's not what counts to me?it's the care, love, and consideration one gives to family, business owners, and great customers, who ultimately provide for us all.

One last thing?I love to fish, but not the catching and cleaning part of fishing.

    Charlie Mattson

Hi, my name's Charlie and I was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho.  I grew up working in the auto salvage business, so I've spent a lot of time around cars and have made a career for myself within the automotive industry.  I joined the Peterson team in 2000 at the old, downtown Nampa store, prior to moving to our current location.  I feel very blessed to be able to work with such an honest, dedicated, and talented team that the Peterson family has assembled at the Stampede.  When I'm not working at the store, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our grandchildren. On weekends, we find ourselves enjoying day trips to the many southern Idaho outdoor recreation areas, and occasionally taking camping trips that hopefully include one of our favorite fishing spots.
